The video above is from their 2013 album, which I reviewed for Alternative Press as follows:
Some bands are so breathtakingly stupid they tumble forward into a kind of genius. On their fifth album, Atlanta deathcore knuckle-walkers Attila have at last reached the lofty realm populated by Limp Bizkit, Emmure, Brokencyde and Hollywood Undead. Their blend of savage, downtuned riffing, concussive drumming and nihilistic party-till-someone-gets-hurt lyrics (alternately roared in guttural death metal style, and sneer-screamed in a manner that recalls flyover-country rebel kings from Guns N’ Roses and Junkyard to Hellyeah) is bolstered by their willingness to hurl breakdown after breakdown, punctuated by the occasional squiggly guitar solo, at their sun-poisoned, drunk-high-and-horny audience, ultimately yielding one of 2013’s most potent party albums. With track titles like “Middle Fingers Up,” “Thug Life,” “Break Shit,” “Shots For The Boys” and “Party With The Devil,” you can’t possibly blame anyone but yourself if you don’t know what you’re getting into before you press Play on this slab. Within half a song, you’ll be laughing, headbanging and quite possibly barking along. That said, there’s an undercurrent of misogyny that pops up from time to time and threatens to spoil the fun. But if/once you get past lines like “punch that bitch,” you’ll be hoisting beers and throwing fists in the air in no time.
The first single from their new album Chaos is called "Public Apology" - I posted the YouTube stream in the rolling metal thread.

The other two songs you linked don't do much for me but I'll give you that I find "Public Apology" kind of catchy in a moronic way. Taking that much pride in saying "cunt" and "bitch" is obv pathetic, though. I'm somewhat intrigued by this phenomenon: I gather that they have a decent cult-sized audience and perform on rock album charts; however, I honestly don't know anyone who listens to them and have only really heard of them because of your posts on Rolling Metal.

I think what Phil is getting at is that these bands are what is popular across the US in smaller cities and towns etc . I dont know much about the geography of the usa but I guess what gets called midwest america and middle america? Not the metropolitan cities.

i like slipknot. and that's it. as far as this stuff goes. kinda insane that this could even still be a thing in 2016. the lead guy's voice is beyond bad. and they do digi-death voices, right? like, they create them in the studio. which could be cool if it were even MORE over the top. i dunno, i can think of all kinds of ways that you could take all these elements and make them cooler. which is why i will stick with die antwoord. the budget gangsta lyfe stuff in the vids though...just so lame.
if someone gave me the money i would be more than happy to put together the perfect annoying edm/dubstep/atari teenage riot/heavy death/doom/soccer/oi/hardcore gang chorus cash cow.

Attila are from Atlanta, which is the ninth largest city in America. They're a Southern party-rock band, but they sell out mid-sized shows nationwide. They're about to launch a headlining US tour with Emmure and two other bands as support; the venue they're playing near me (in NJ) holds 2500 people. Bands like Trivium and Killswitch Engage headline there when they come through.

Fair enoughT but I did mean the fanbase. Most of the stuff on rolling metal probably has most fans in the cities but this stuff sells in provincial working class america (i live in provincial working class scotland tho not far from Glasgow but Scotland is tiny)
I still see loads of Slipknot tshirts and hoodies, dont see that ever going away now but dunno anyone who would listen to Emmure, Hell Yeah or Attila. But then again, im 43 and have no kids. None of my cousins weans are into metal. Metal isnt that popular just now here.
Is it any different in the US?

mook metal/post-grunge/whatever may not be the massive cash cow it once was (but then what is?) but it has never died off in america. the rock songs chart is currently topped by (good lord) two twenty-one pilots songs but there's still a disturbed song lurking in the top ten.
― a basset hound (strongo hulkington's ghost dad), Saturday, 24 September 2016 15:53 (seven years ago) link
Metal is more popular in the US than in the UK, but that's always been the case. But Attila fans (who are mostly teenagers) don't consider them metal, I don't think. They get covered in Alternative Press more than Revolver.

― the coyotes have taken over the town (Drugs A. Money), Sunday, 25 September 2016 05:17 (seven years ago) link
The thing that's interesting to me about this band is that their lyrics are def a frothy mix of knuckle-dragging lowest-common denominator "party" music — a mix of post-NYHC pit mook, Sunset Strip glam metal badboy, and the lazy hip-hop tropes adopted by circa '07 MySpace Los Angeles "scene" bands, BUT unlike, say, Hollywood Undead they are definitely super ugly/extreme deathcore.... So, their lyrics are basically saying "we say the dumbest shit imaginable because want the most fans humanly possible" but their music is saying "this is very precise and well-rehearsed and ugly and off-putting."
Like imagine if it was 1992 and someone did a record where the music sounded like Cannibal Corpse but the lyrics were Winger's "17" and Slaughter's "Smooth Up in Ya." That's the best analogy I can come up with.

Taking into account that I still worked for Roadrunner when they were first signed...I like them. I think David Gunn is a good writer who comes up with some really great lines, and the band is capable of different sounds - they do the ultra-heavy nu-metal thing, but they also do semi-acoustic folk-country material really well. Also I like the fact that they're so relentlessly local and fixated on basically one subject: the shittiness of life in Flint, MI. I haven't heard the whole new album yet but I like the songs I have heard.
― Don Van Gorp, midwest regional VP, marketing (誤訳侮辱), Sunday, 25 September 2016 11:42 (seven years ago) link
They are interesting in a very Chuck Eddy way, like anything mook that has kinda trash aesthetics and is anti respectable and throws around genre signifiers and exists at some nexus of metal and hip hop or electronic and b yh all means most importantly can be used as Whiney just did as a way of tweaking some brand name respectable indie band, but I dunno like in this day and age 21 white dudes being assholes seems like literally the most boring shit ever and morally vacant and honestly this music just fucking sucks
