They're kind of all true. It was a great goal and is a GOTS contender on its own merits. It was a hopeful cunting that wouldn't come off 95% of the time (or more). The fact it was Peter Crouch makes it all the more amazing*. The only thing missing was the robot celebration.

*though I've heard that he has a surprisingly good touch for a big man

feel like long range monsters don't win GOTS that often? so I would expect RVP to get it, barring further strong contenders, but would, personally, spring for Crouch so to speak

crouch has always had a weird little sideline in volleys and overhead kicks and other awkwardish feats of technique, people are coming out with this "hopeful cunting" faux shock as if dirk kuyt had done it

the uncannily smooth competence of it is what's striking moreso than crouch doing something cray basically

went with the good-willed cunting opinion. a bit like kicking a ball into a skip tbh.
