Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, but we're living abroad this year and so the kids have school. It's a totally normal day here. It's a weird feeling. On the plus side we strolled along Boulevard Haussmann last night and gazed at the grands magasins, all lit up with Christmas displays in place, with people selling roasted chestnuts. It was marvelous. So I think it will just be a different kind of holiday this year.

Someone needs to revive a ridiculous thread so I can type stupid things for a couple of hours instead of pretending to work in this ghost town.

I haven't heard any chatter about leaving early around here, so I'm just going to work extra slowly to avoid having nothing at all to do at the end of the day.
