finally watching s2, not sure why i waited so long, but this shit is amazing

i just have to note two things i love about this show:

1. amazing use of music.
2. when the go to a freeze frame and the big yellow letters zoom in:
EAST
BOUND
&DOWN
it's pretty badass

Other than the midget's jokes ("I'll rip your fake mustache off!" "HA HA I always bring a spare!") my wife and I haven't found much to laugh in Season 2. Don Johnson appearance doesn't leave me particularly hopeful for that changing.

Yeah, i think the Don Johnson appearance was the nadir. As soon as they mentioned Kenny's father i knew there would be a wacky cameo of some sort

But yes, the freeze frame title sequences are the best

season 2 definitely a step down from 1, but still p great

Pretty sit-com-y, but a promising set-up for the season nonetheless.

I haven't been to Myrtle Beach in several years, but that's 100% how I remember it.

Just got on this lately, funny stuff. So many great characters. I like how it has short seasons, it means there are no filler episodes, and each season is forced to have a tight story arc. Amazing production values for a sitcom.

Yeah, last night's soundtrack was pretty awesome.

I lolled hard at the "base tan" scene.

The second episode of the season was the most surreal stuff that's ever been on the show. I wonder if Will Ferrell's presence steers those guys in that direction? The eps that he's in tend to be the ones where everything gets slightly more cartoonish.

I thought the second episode got demonstrably less funny every time Will Ferrell came on-screen. I like him, typically, but I thought he sucked the fun out of that episode, until the final scene anyway.
