sweet tater, Friday, 9 March 2007 22:35 (seventeen years ago) link

Ok this has gone far enough, I don't believe that cats have the ability to suck.

Jordan, Friday, 9 March 2007 22:41 (seventeen years ago) link

(although I guess they must for nursing, which means I'm dumb, but I've never seen it happen)

Jordan, Friday, 9 March 2007 22:42 (seventeen years ago) link

i imagine they're just chewing

kenan, Friday, 9 March 2007 22:43 (seventeen years ago) link

demon cat appears to be chewing, i think.

sweet tater, Friday, 9 March 2007 22:48 (seventeen years ago) link

but the other cat appears to have just finished with her manicure & is taking a long sip on her diet coke!

sweet tater, Friday, 9 March 2007 22:49 (seventeen years ago) link

Bye guys, I'm going home and then I'm gonna go see me some ART.

dan m, Friday, 9 March 2007 22:51 (seventeen years ago) link

btw, you guys are right, this Field Music record is great. Prediction: I will listen to this a lot.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 00:35 (seventeen years ago) link

oooh that makes me mad. Pudding, Monster and Trouble are not like triangles! They are perfectly formed kitties aka poop with fur!
triangles don't eat crunchies!
Plus they are more football shaped (Pudding and Trouble) due to excessive crunching on crunchies. Monster is very furry but sleek - due to the fact that he KNOWS he is a small version of a panther. Spring is here - I anticipate many tiny birds to meet untimely deaths.
Triangles don't kill birds! I hate triangles!
Also, I hate that he kills birds, but it's not easy to stop it.

Jesse, Saturday, 10 March 2007 01:10 (seventeen years ago) link

Attention: The dumb ass who decided to start DST 3 weeks earlier. Fuck you. You are causing a whole lot of pain for some IT departments. I'll see you in hell!

Jeff, Saturday, 10 March 2007 01:21 (seventeen years ago) link

Jesse -- stop that. I can't be the only one who doesn't know what the FUCK you're talking about.

I just discovered that whoever tagged my copy of "Midnight Train to Georgia" put a grocers' apostrophe in it. "Glady's Knight and the Pips." Who has an apostrophe in their name?

Our education system is doomed. DOOMED.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 03:03 (seventeen years ago) link

I mean, I can understand if you think that some words need an apostrophe to make them plural, as in "tomato's" or "potato's". Because the "es" ending is counterintuitive, and in some cases, even optional. (Hence the name grocers' apostrophe.) But to think that all letters "s" require an apostrophe? To put an apostrophe in "Gladys"? I hope that dude's mother was names Gladys and beat him for that.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 03:11 (seventeen years ago) link

Kenan, the kitty/triangle post was copied from the "kitties are human" thread. I think it's hilariou's as a non-sequitir.

Jesse, Saturday, 10 March 2007 03:51 (seventeen years ago) link

Triangles don't kill birds! I hate triangles!

I mean seriously, does this make anyone else LOL besides me?

Jesse, Saturday, 10 March 2007 03:52 (seventeen years ago) link

Ken'n.

Eazy, Saturday, 10 March 2007 03:59 (seventeen years ago) link

FUCK YOU, FUCKING TRIANGLES!

Jesse, Saturday, 10 March 2007 03:59 (seventeen years ago) link

http://www.roflcat.com/images/cats/270911970_db35fdd4ca.jpg

That's one ugly fucking cat. I wisht that cat were a triangle instead.

Jesse, Saturday, 10 March 2007 04:09 (seventeen years ago) link

that is way better looking than that cat. whatever that is, it just needs to be heated and stirred with a large wooden spoon, and it will be a delicious sauce. "Blood Milk Sauce," we'll call it. It will be a huge hit among people who don't know what they're eating.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:25 (seventeen years ago) link

Google searches for "blood milk sauce" turn up nothing; searches for "blood + milk" turn up only the worst sort of vegetarian horror stories; and searches for "blood + milk + sauce" turn up Iceland. We need to find to a successful synthesis of blood and milk, because I cannot believe the has never been one. I bet it was dairy-blood-licious.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:35 (seventeen years ago) link

I think 300 made me gay. For men.

Jordan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:41 (seventeen years ago) link

as opposed to...

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:43 (seventeen years ago) link

Seriously, I've never seen more hairless washboard abs in a movie. It's a total manpile.

Jordan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:44 (seventeen years ago) link

I TOLD YOU.

Actually, you told yourself. WHY?

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:48 (seventeen years ago) link

Because tonight I asked out the furniture girl who I had a crush on and she has a boyfriend, so I figured gay, why not?

Jordan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:52 (seventeen years ago) link

:( :(

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:54 (seventeen years ago) link

Nah it's cool, I'm just glad I did it so I can stop thinking about it. And 300 really is a hilarious movie.

Jordan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 05:56 (seventeen years ago) link

I think 300 made me gay. For men.

I'll be right over.

Jesse, Saturday, 10 March 2007 06:22 (seventeen years ago) link

Hi, it's 3:40 a.m.

n/a, Saturday, 10 March 2007 09:38 (seventeen years ago) link

The visuals are ridiculous, but this is such a good song.

Eazy, Saturday, 10 March 2007 10:21 (seventeen years ago) link

A discovery: next to most soul music, Ray Charles is heavy metal. I dl'd the "Best of Atlantic" CD last night, and shit is RAW. Forget that stupid movie, Ray Charles is for real.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 14:14 (seventeen years ago) link

I left my living room window open all night, and the floor is freezing, and it's maybe 50 in here what with the heater competing with the breeze all night, and I LOVE IT. It's sunny out and the high today is near 50 and I'm listening to Motown and the snow is all melted. SO EXCITED YOU GUYS.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 14:29 (seventeen years ago) link

Ooh... "Just My Imagination" by The Temptations. Everything is ok. Really.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 14:31 (seventeen years ago) link

You know who else likes open windows and sunshine? Kitties.

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 14:34 (seventeen years ago) link

The lake front path is packed. You'd think these people have never seen 40 degrees and sunshine.

Jeff, Saturday, 10 March 2007 16:18 (seventeen years ago) link

Just My Imagination is great. I've got Prince doing a live version somewhere that's pretty sweet too.

Jordan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 16:25 (seventeen years ago) link

oh! ysi!

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 16:30 (seventeen years ago) link

I heard a dj on the radio this morning suggesting that people check out the lakefront path today because it's so nice out. I was like, "I know where I'm not going today."

kenan, Saturday, 10 March 2007 16:31 (seventeen years ago) link

It's actually not that bad. Just a lot of puddles are causing some traffic jams.

Jeff, Saturday, 10 March 2007 16:36 (seventeen years ago) link

I will, whenever I can convince this rickety computer to do it.
