Not to defend the horriblness of MacDonalds and their bland, artificial muck. I
do occassionally succumb admittedly. There's a McDonalds right next to my work and if I'm on a late shift and haven't brought my own food and nowhere else is open what else can I do? It does leave a weird feeling though. Something about that processed plastic cheese that makes my head feel all plastic and shiny. Must be the MSG.

key to mcd/BK/wendys is, at least for me, dont load up on it. the whopper jr and jr CB deluxe are great great snacks. you satisfy that foul craving for shit burgers while not feeling sick afterwards. also, eatin anything more than a "small" order of fries at these places is literally nauseating. i'm convinced that it was mostly the fries (and super humungous cokes) that caused that guy's problems in "supersize me".

I don't consider it food. There are other fast food options that are edible and satisfying without making one feel ill, so I'll go for those in a pinch. Sonic has killer drinks. Arby's is using all natural chicken.

one assumes that the only thing it shares in common with other McDonalds' of the world is the mysterious Ingredient X. In all other respects, the menu bears little to no resemblance to actual food either Indian or American.

Last time I had McDonald's was last year in Sweden. It tasted...fresher?...than US McD's food. Still - that was the last time and only out of necessity (on the road travelling and no other food venues in sight).

McD's should just McGriddlize everything by stamping their corporate logo in it, and give you the "breakfast" option for all burgers by topping the burger w/margarine + syrup. Then they wouldn't have to worry about two different menus.
