the dialogue on this show is plenty funny but it's the editing that really kills me

Regarding editing I always thought they did a really good job mimicking the show types they're parodying though.

whoever handles that is probably the MVP of the whole show. like there's almost not a single scene that goes without something funny happening.

Every time I see Jon Daly as Gene Creemers I crack up instantly.

xp - I thought that was Thomas Lennon!! the "Wheels of Ontario"/"Show Us Your Songs" segments are probably the bes tpart of the show, the "Bryan's opinion" part really cracked me up

Jon Daly is Thomas Lennon with some Rainn Wilson stirred in.

My wife loves this show, and I've come around. The sheer obnoxiousness is exhausting, but Publizity and Wheels Ontario rule so far.

i've never seen the Kroll Show. i did hear him and Mulaney do a WNYC show in character, and they were funny, but (cost aside) i do not need to see Oh Hello on Broadway cuz those guys are essentially sitting outside my building every day.

the characters are much more fun on their own then when shoved into the contrived situations on the show

such a strange show - I can't imagine very many people in their target audience being overly familiar with the shows and tropes they're parodying
