that Vanilla Porter is p good as far as those go.

as far as the other two choices, I can only assume you've used your head as a percussion instrument tonight

Neanderthal, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 03:47 (eight years ago) link

i didn't buy any of these. they're just what was in the fridge, left over from parties etc

save the bud light for when it's 85 degrees and humid.

ian, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 04:50 (eight years ago) link

lol i had a feeling that weird cinammon horchata blue moon wouldn't be a fan favorite

Treeship, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 04:53 (eight years ago) link

I never figured out the real reason why people needed to poke extra holes in cans to drink beer faster. I could always drink it just as fast without whatever physics bullshit going on

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 05:00 (eight years ago) link

there used to be a bar in greenpoint called "red star". instead of a pitcher you could get these like, two liter things of bud light with a spigot attached. my brother, two of his friends, and i used to see if we could drink the whole thing without closing the spigot, like when one person is finished filling their glass the next person has to put their glass under it immediately after it. you had to drink the beers fast, because your turn would come up fast. we called this the "red star challenge" and i always thought it was an official, sanctioned thing that the bar had that they wanted you to do. but actually it was just a thing my brother made up and one day a waiter got annoyed at us for spilling beer and i felt bad.

Treeship, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 05:05 (eight years ago) link

I luvs ya Treezy but dear god the activity you described above sounds about as great as jamming my dick into a wine bottle

Neanderthal, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 05:07 (eight years ago) link

El Tomboto, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 05:12 (eight years ago) link

Treeship, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 06:52 (eight years ago) link

I was once persuaded to try the horchata ale by someone who's a huge fan of it. it is liquid garbage

HYPERLINK TO RAP GENIUS (BradNelson), Wednesday, 16 March 2016 07:20 (eight years ago) link

It really is. Original Blue Moon is barely better. It tastes like a fully synthetic version of a Belgian witbier from the distant future, when plants no longer exist and scientists have to rely on written accounts of beers to approximate their taste.

Treeship, Wednesday, 16 March 2016 07:42 (eight years ago) link

Original Blue Moon is drinkable at least I guess. The horchata beer was sickeningly sweet. I finished it anyway.

this is not enough, you also need to add horchata

the most savage thing i've intentionally done to a beer is put a "cinammon-sugar rim" around the edge of a glass of pumpkin ale. other people were doing it too.
