i've seen two, of which the better is HELL OR HIGH WATER

I've seen the Lonergan. Want to see HOHW and Moonlight too tho, and not just coz of Soto

I've measured out my life with coke spoons.

Moonlight just over Manchester, HOHW in a solid third place.

I've seen Manchester, HoHW, Arrival and Moonlight, all solid films, but so different that chosing a best would be difficult. I guess Moonlight is the most unique and heartfelt of the lot. It won't win the oscar.

I've only seen Moonlight so Moonlight but I won't shit up the poll with my uninformed vote.

I have seen exactly 6

honestly they've had way worse sets of nominees

I've seen two, and will see a third one this monday, and it does sorta feel as if I've wasted my life.

I watched three of them (Fences/Lion/MbtS) in basically the same sitting, that makes the time expenditure seem less grievous somehow

Moonlight, followed by Fences, followed by Arrival/Manchester. At least those are my choices. I feel like la la land will probably win because boring whites

"Moonlight" is so overrated. A tasteful kind of victim narrative.

"pointless rock guitar" IS a phrase that Armond White would use.
