imagine for a moment that there was a genetic defect which resulted in a person with 4 ears. Then imagine that, unlike the kitten, the 4 ears were all capable of hearing. Would it mean the person heard the world in a different way? Would it mean that they spoke in an unusual tone of voice, like many deaf people?
