actually stevem is also 63rd as "neurotic awakening of S" with another 7564, which makes him second overall, about 300 ahead of Dan...

Tim 'opkins at 95 is the highest placed poster never to have started a thread, well done Tim (the next is gem, who is 481st).

hmm, i'm not sure about this being definitive (not that i care, just saying like), i've got another 1000 posts on another "log in" as well, and i bet kate's got loads what with her never having a log in...

mark p (Mark P), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:11 (nineteen years ago) link

Yeah, if they were to add up all my multiple identities... (I think that the non-log-in thing was actually fixed for at least two of my email addresses, though.)

Masonic Boom-Boom (kate), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:12 (nineteen years ago) link

My name appears three times on the all-time list -- jaymc (with link to profile): ~5,600; jaymc (without link): ~5,400; jaymc (old e-mail address): 79. (I'm not sure why this is.)

Because it's split so evenly, I don't appear any higher than #96 on the all-time list, but if you combine them, then I'd be somewhere in the 30s. (Although I guess other people have this problem, too, so maybe I'd be a bit lower.)

jaymc (jaymc), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:13 (nineteen years ago) link

with several other logins i come to 22,196, which would make me 9. however i think there are at least 10 or 20 others who are in a similar situation, and so i'd probably be back down at 20 all things considered.

Amateur(ist) (Amateur(ist)), Wednesday, 12 January 2005 16:22 (nineteen years ago) link

I would like to point out that I am much higher placed if you only consider ILM and/or ILE (I think I started a thread on HTML playground or Ask Chaki)

Casuistry (Chris P), Thursday, 13 January 2005 07:58 (nineteen years ago) link

I'm about 86 on the list but I'm listed 3 times for some reason - if you add it all up Im over 10,000 posts now (!!) which'd put me in the top 40, wahey! Considering Ive only been posting 2 years thats not a bad run I reckon.

I dont think I've started more than maybe a dozen threads, not even near that, either.

Trayce (trayce), Thursday, 13 January 2005 07:59 (nineteen years ago) link

i believe anthony easton has created the most threads by some distance
Tom E, if you add up Tom and Tico Tico, has started 1503 threads, only 48 behind Anthony (although Tom isn't on ILX anymore, so Anthony's lead is safe for now).
