I just saw this shitty, shitty movie called The Romantics that's coming out, sort of a pea-brained Whit Stillman's Big Chill Getting Married love triangle between her, Josh Duhamel and Anna Paquin (for real). At the very least, Tom Cruise hasn't crushed her ability to play Joey Potter.

Friend who is costume designer for films had to work with KH recently (for Nanny Diaries, I think) and noted that she was lovely, but surrounded by private security teams who do 'sweeps' of rooms before she comes into them and are quite overbearing generally. She's worked with other people who you'd imagine would have a security element going on (currently working on a G Clooney film) but said she'd never seen anything like it.

I'd like to think he's privately dressing them all up like his towering ideal, like James Stewart did in "Vertigo." Then he has them go out grocery shopping and stuff while he hangs back and spies on them. And I'd like to think this all takes place on a remote island soundstage built to resemble any number of big cities, populated only by Cruise, his mate and a bunch of mannequins.
