Thesedays, the most vocal opponents of DC's "Photo Opportunity at all times" presentation style is the tories themselves. They got so used to attacking Blair for same, they haven't noticed he's one of their own, it seems.

I guess if you throw a crocodile steak into a pit of crocs, they'd eat it anyway.

Cameron, Blair and Major in the top 3 new answers!

it's probably carefully calibrated -- presumably "natural tory voters" don't like cameron's style either, and need reassuring there are stil some tru bangers in the party. but for wavering post-blairites, they need some kind of alibi before jumping ship, and the davester's 'make poverty history'-type commitment to ending child poverty by cutting down the role of the state (ermmm) is it.

He looks tasty, actually. Seems like he's in good shape, but with enough fat to make the meat tender. If I was stranded on a desert island and had to canibalise a politician, I'd probably plump for Cameron.

"Natural Tory voters" are 96 years old, called Ann or Doreen, and got killed in two world wars for the likes of so-called us.

Apparently.

He'd probably leave a bad taste in your mouth.

With Gordon Brown I'd visualise a Fray Bentos-type scenario.
