No, I've never heard a whole album. One time I almost bought 'Daydream' for like $4 but then I didn't. Wasn't it supposed to be godawful, or was that just the film?
i really don't think anyone's listened to it. the film is supposed to be awful.
the album is like... lush, bubbly, buzz-y club music from the 70s, with hooks and synths as tipsy as champagne

Doesn't Eric H. like Glitter (the album)?? I've never listened to the whole thing but I enjoy "Didn't Mean to Turn You On" and "All My Life" well enough. I watched most of the movie on Youtube once, which seemed appropriate.

Quite possibly, yes. Charmbracelet isn't one of her strongest albums (it might possibly be her weakest, vocally) but it certainly contains some of her best songwriting."Yours", "Clown", "Lullaby", "Subtle Invitation" and the Def Leppard cover make up the album's few highlights.

Mimi is my favorite but I'm gonna vote for Butterfly, because it's amazing and deserves a vote... also Emotions is very underrated (has one of my favorite Mariah songs "Make It Happen", plus some great balladry overall, and a cool retro feel)... Daydream is also vote worthy ("Underneath the Stars" !!)
the only ones I don't own are Charmbracelet and the Christmas Album

"Make It Happen" is good, yes. So is "Someday," off the debut.

I fell down a Mariah wormhole tonight and OMG "Make It Happen".
MC + C+C must be one of the most underrated (in the sense of just not being talked about) great collaborative partnerships in pop. I suppose they probably did less than two handfuls of songs together though.
