this wouldn't be as good as i'm imagining i'm sure but i've had a recurring thought of kool and the gang's "too hot" sampled by the jacka or something -- kind of his regular synth beat with a chorus sampling that somewhat odd bridge "feeling the pain."

Far as I know that Al Stewart song hasn't been sampled and it's a good choice.

Also loving that vivo sonhando version by Luiz Henrique. Never heard it before. Definitely stealing that one if I ever become a producer.

Ok I'm almost 100% sure that some (american?) disco artist covered that Esmeray track at some point but I can't find any info on it. It seems Turkey doesn't exist in the internets.

It's funny that this topic has cropped up, because I was listening to some music on shuffle play earlier and 'Beggars Farm' by Jethro Tull came on (from the album This Was) and I was so tempted to sample and loop the intro.
