Je Veux Te Voir is really cackhanded and annoying. What's the difference between this and Uffie?

I know I'm way late to the party but the Tepr mix of A Cause is kicking my ass, even though I'm not even close to a fan of electronic music. Should I seek out Yelle albums? Or Tepr stuff?

ah, I remember how startled I was when my 8 years old girl cousines started singing "parle a ma main", especially the "les mecs y pensent qu'a nous mettre des doigts" ("guys only think about fingering us") part... puzzling...

I have only heard that diss song of her and I expected her to look a whole lot sassier than she did when I finally copped the video but I still like it. I sang it to this one friend I have whose a Christian and French (I KNOW!) and she was proper insulted till I explained. Its a great song, really fun.

well, the lyrics are pretty heavy for such a popular song in france. it's the "chansons grivoises" tradition, i guess (and the french christians aren't the last to like that kinda things).

the song she's done with crookers is pretty awesome. apparently she was working on a new album in autumn/winter just gone. seems like she hasn't done anything for aaages - other than the katy perry thing.

I put Safari Disco Club on a recent mixtape and have listened to the song quite a few times even though I kind of don't like it. Not sure she's ever going to top A Cause des Garcons.

well, not many people ever will.

The new album's very enjoyable. I suspect, like the first one, it'll sound better live than on record though. Wish i'd known she was supporting Katy Perry next week. Comme Un Enfant is my pick of the bunch at the moment.

I was surprised to see posters for her playing a large club here after not seeing her name for years since she appeared. I will go back to not thinking of her.

She's at Village Underground on the 4th of March. Tickets still available, i think.
Definitely worth it - her live show is terrific.

I like OMG! I’m really disappointed there’s still not been another album. Get on the stick, Yelle. This revive sponsored by Annie from Norway coming out with her first new album after eleven years.
