I used to be confused what RPM suited "When you Walk in the Room" by Ramming Speed. That song is too damn FAST!

1. Pinky & Perky slowed from 45 to 33 = two women, pitched just right. Like discovering that there is no Santa.
2. The Goons "Ying Tong Song" slowed 45 to 16 = Milligan/Sellers/Secombe, in their normal voices, again pitched just right, singing v-e-r-y slowly & carefully & deliberately. Much funnier than the original. (Which wasn't. At all.)
Conclusion: pitch-changing technology in 50s & 60s still in its infancy.

I know there are some CD decks out there with pitch control also, but they seem to be a rare breed. I wouldn't mind having one, though. In fact, the next time I have to buy a CD player, I'm making sure that it has that feature. (I've seen some Marantz and maybe Denon decks that did this. Not sure if they still make them that way.)

Sabres of Paradise -- SmokebelchLFO vs FUSE -- LoopSeefeel -- Fracture/Tied
In my defense, some of these were labelled incorrectly.

play at 33.3 +5 and it sounds amazing...way too fast as it was originally recorded (45rpm).
