Nice setup, Scik!

Blue Jeans -- I actually used to watch that TV in my bedroom in the '90s until the screen went black. I'd like to get it going again but I don't know enough about electronics to know if it's an easy fix.

also, a bunch of the records on the metal shelves are not mine. maybe the top half is wife and roommate.

@ian : fear not, i too look at the pics and wonder WTF is going on.

i run a clean house, but dear god, some of these pics make me want to get the dyson out at 3am, and hand over 28% of my belongings to the local charity shop.

haha .. if that were the only real life shyte i had to deal with to make my place look presentable ..

Why, how big is your scratching pillar?

Evan, Thursday, 27 March 2014 23:38 (ten years ago) link

one year passes...

I have a large, walk-in cupboard in my living room which I'm starting to think of using to store my CDs and records, as I'm sick of them commandeering the entire living room wall space. I'm looking for inspiration - has anyone done this kind of thing? Or got any impressive photos from elsewhere?

The cupboard is a good size (I still need to measure it though) and very tall (Glasgow tenement), so if I got custom shelving put in up the ceiling it would probably hold everything with a modest space in the middle to walk in and select things.

That sounds pretty awesome. A music larder!

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Monday, 8 February 2016 12:16 (eight years ago) link

Yeah, it would be that kind of size. Nowhere near a proper room, but a very big cupboard.
