i enjoyed Children of Desire way more than any of the other big name fake 80s bands you'd care to name

every band is exactly as good as the first video posted in their thread. so merchandise are pretty okay, smoothed-out 90s noise rock w/ sensitive goth dude feeling vocals woo.

I like After the End more than any of the previous stuff, but my head's been in a "big widescreen 80s production" place lately.

Like, some of the music on the new one reminds me of a more finesse version of The Call.

the production is a definite improvement but the songs are still a bit on the thin side, tunewise

feels like they smoothed out any & all of the weirdness that made them interesting. not really loving After the End. CoD and Total Nite were excellent though.

almost makes me nostalgic for interpol.

Ooh boy
This new one is just a flat-out terrible record. Makes me question what I ever loved about CoD. Totale Nite sucked too.

This band went in strange directions following Children of Desire. I still enjoy the ST EP and Terminal Jagger Jane though.

one month passes...

I have never heard any of their previous work, but I really like After the End!

I really like After The End. I just started listening to their new one, A Corpse Wired For Sound. Not so sure about the new one just yet.

do they still sound like blues brothers 2000

I really loved half of After The End, but nothing is grabbing me so far on the new one.
