A personal fave.

Oooh, Havana Affair! That's the first one off my ballot. That was my favorite from the s/t for a long time. "Now I'm a guy for the C.I.A." Such a perfectly dumb lyric. The riff is so great and dark too.

"It's Not My Place" barely missed my ballot. My second favorite from Pleasant Dreams after We Want the Airwaves. I don't feel like it's my place in the 9 to 5 world now.

I'd like to apologize right now for only including two post-EOTC tracks, those albums deserved better but I did not have the time to do serious listening

I reviewed Pleasant Dreams, but a copy is at best sitting in the morgue of a defunct student paper.

One of their funniest lines: "We can't go surfin' 'cause it's 20 below."

"Commando" was in my top five! This doesn't bode well for some of my other choices.

"commando" is top 5 ramones, i don't see how there can be any other interpretation

"Don't Come Close" and "Pet Sematary" both on my ballot. I also had "Dannys Says" as my #3. So TOO LOW to alla these!

I can only imagine that 1 more of my top ten will make it in at this point and it'll probably be in the next 5.

Wasn't Loco Live the album that they recorded in stadiums in South America? I thought that was a bad choice. That environment seemed to suck the life out of those songs. I know they had a huge, enthusiastic following down there, but live punk rock albums should not be recorded in huge outdoor venues. Greatest Hits Live (despite the piss poor title) is a great live Ramones album, recorded in a club in NYC.

Some people (Christgau, e.g.) hate this one. I kinda love it. I think this and "Danny Says" are the two times on the album that the Spectorisms really pay off.
