Zella Day is often referred to as a more uptempo Lana Del Rey, and this track certainly reflects this.

That's not for me, really. Too overtly (and desperately) soundtrack-y.

Ane Brun has a new lead single off a 2015 album.

The last album was a bracing affair, despite a similarly charming lead.

I know nothing about Jennie Abrahamson, except that "Wolf" is shambhalatastic.

There's a connection, both Brun and Abrahamson have been tapped for Peter Gabriel tours (and the obligatory "Don't Give Up" duet).

Ane Brun has never been my bag, but there have been several Jennie Abrahamson songs over the years that I've been into.

Adna is a Swedish artist, based in Berlin. the title track of her new album, "Run, Lucifer" is a sublime icy cold art-pop track, with piano and reflective vocals.

Adna, is under the radar, a few european and british based blogs have picked this up. e,g the 405 in the UK. Also Adna is being played on "Amazing Radio" in the UK, there are apps on google play and ios to listen to this excellent radio station that often plays new Shambhala type music.

The album was slated for March 20th release in Germany. However from some reason it appeared on Spotify UK on March 11th.

If you get a chance to see Karin Park, take it. I expected not-too-exciting singing+sequencers, but I wanted to see a show while I was here in Stockholm and there she was. But her drummer is her brother, and he comes out in a Slayer shirt and begins hitting things very hard, and she is at least 9 feet tall and has a keytar, and the whole thing was extremely entertaining. Good crowd response from whatever she was saying in Swedish, too.
