my first pass through the list left me with 102

I had to cut pretty brutally, hardly any artists ended up with more than one track, personal favorites in the top 20. A lot of my minimal/experimental nominations could not stand up to the likes of Yes or King Crimson.

Gratifyingly, my second pass left me with exactly 50 - including 3 that I'd never heard until they had been nominated (one of which is in my Top 10).

I confess that if I skip a track on the Spotify playlist, I've often only listened to a couple minutes.

Which is in many ways the only practical option but feels so much like cheating.

Voted although the bottom half were pretty arbitrary choices from the final 80 or so I'd narrowed it down to.

Anyway, looking forward to the rollout

Voted! I didn't dig too deeply into all the nominees, but a few songs I had never heard (by (popol vuh, sibelius, herbie hancock)did make it onto my ballot.

Voted. Jazz got completely stiffed on my ballot (once the game changed & it had to make way for classical). Sorry, jazz. But fairly pleased with it overall.

Also, I probably would've nominated 'Close Encounters' by The Orb. Seems like all the other 'epics' from U.F.Orb were nominated, but not that one.

Forgot about the poll until 2 days ago so I just voted for tracks I already knew. When I have a spare year or two I'll start investigating the rest of the nominations...
