Frogbs OTM about Lake's voice. I always thought he was underrated as a singer. It's weird to think that Carl Palmer is the only surviving member of ELP now.

I'm just re-watching that video on Youtube of ELP rehearsing 'Karn Evil 9' ... I've seen it about a zillion times at this point, but I'm always impressed by just how hard they worked to get that stuff tight.

Beautiful piece. I've been relistening to the first few ELP albums as well as KC's first two after Lake's death. They've reminded me how much I loved listening to them as a kid -- just about every keyb passage and bassline remain inscribed in my memory to the point I could whistle along after not listening to them for many years. Some things are never forgotten.
