Warrell's overemoting is endearing as it is hilarious at times. listening to one of my favs Dreaming Neon Black now and stifling giggles at "I NEVER KNEW WHAT CHANGED YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU"
I mean I wouldn't want it any other way, it's just cheese of the best kind.

Year of the Voyager a surprisingly good live album that I never heard. really thick sound, Warrel in fine form vocally. good setlist of material spanning all of their eras. Admittedly my favorite era runs between the s/t through Dreaming Neon Black, but they play the newer stuff that I like the most like "Born", "My Acid Tongue", etc.
really sad that Warrel is gone. he was just the right kind of goofy, he didn't understand subtlety, his sense of dynamics was doing everything at 11, but that's what I liked about him.
weirdly, his speaking voice does not sound like I expected it to. I almost expected him to have an affected speech style with a mid-atlantic accent and rounded consonants. never heard him do an interview before.
