I'm having a major Teen Witch revelation here. I had no idea that was a real song.
Anyway, "Words," "Destination Unknown," "Walking in LA" = great. Don't know the rest.

I've been re-experiencing the Rhyme & Reason lately, bit by bit. First I had to put my fave song on it on my compilation of stuff to play at the gym "If Only For The Moment", my fave Missing Persons song of all time.
Then I heard this amazing thing called "Action Reaction" that is a bonus track on the CD I never knew about. It sounds like it came from very early days.
And also I love "Surrender Your Heart" and my elbow hurts right now to try to find a proper classic or dud thread or whatever. If you find one, link, thanks.
I think it's amazing how well most of the Rhyme & Reason album holds up today.

I've just flipped over their first two albums the last month or so and this live thing I found too called "Late Nights/Early Days".
I dreamed I might be lucky enough to find a few early live videos of them on You Tube and low and behold, my dreams came true recently:
"Windows": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XNHkgMNVn0I
"Mental Hopscotch" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vkJhbAz1DbU
Okay so that last one isn't live. I love this band, I'm sorry.

I can't believe how small this thread is. Growing up in L.A these guys seemed to be ubiquitous. Was it just a local thing, then?

Where would Gwen Stefani be today without Dale Bozzio as a role model?

"Mental Hopscotch" was quite good, if memory serves.

First Michael Vick, now Dale Bozzio? I like "Destination Unknown" as much as the next guy, but seriously, fuck that bitch.

I suppose there's a chance that what the lawyer says is true - she hired someone to take care of the animals and the person never showed up. But for her to not follow up is hugely irresponsible. Very sad.

why does no one ever talk about Missing Persons? Spring Session M is way up there with the best of Blondie and the Pretenders imo. Don't know anything else besides 'Mental Hopscotch.' But man, side one of Spring Session M is hit after hit: Noticeable One, Windows, Ain't None of Your Business, Destination Unknown, Walking in LA, U.S. Drag...........ROCKIN!! why does this band get no credit/plaudits from people that are eager to namedrop Blondie?

There's a new Missing Persons album out now, because why not. Called Dreaming. It's only Dale from the original group.
