This is Shellac’s fifth LP. Recording took place sporadically over the past few years at Steve's ELECTRICAL AUDIO studios in Chicago. The record was mastered by Steve Rooke at ABBEY ROAD. There is no comma in ‘Dude Incredible’; like Sir Duke or King Friday, for example.

PACKAGING

Both the CD and LP version of Dude Incredible come packaged in a chipboard album jacket with two high gloss, full color monkeys on the front cover. The LP includes a CD of the full album.

QC

Audio quality is paramount, as always, with Shellac. The LP was mastered entirely in the analog domain, using the DMM (Direct Metal Mastering) process. The LPs are being manufactured at RTI in Camarillo, CA, using their HQ-180 system. The pressings are 180 gram audiophile quality.

a friend of mine who is a big Shellac fan was raving abt this to me & said it was his favorite since AAP, I will have to check this out.

I think it's fantastic and, yeah, I might agree with the argument of this being the best since Action Park.

my local shop keeps buying, like, three of these at at time, and they keep selling before I can buy one. Grrrr

1000 hurts is prob still a bit better (in terms of the best since aap discussion) but this is excellent. shellac imo is supposed to be sort of the stiff bracing drink of music and this one really hits the spot.

i could see cases for AAP, TF, 1000hhz, and DI....the only thing certain is that Excellent Italian Greyhound is by far the worst Shellac album

Actually, the best Shellac album is the singles/b-sides/compilation tracks/the Futurists 2LP set that they for some reason won't put out
