Besides the obvious 90s Tortoise-like post-rock stuff, is their any good jazzy indie rock out there? In particular I'm looking for more rock, less jazz. Not fusion. Even better if it's psychedelic. Some examples off the top of my head: White Denim's Last Day of Summer, Sandro Perri, Sea and Cake, Malkmus, and Julian Lynch's Mare, Stereolab, Connan Mockasin's Forever Dolphin Love. Seems like there has to be more out there

I just got hip to Fontanelle's Vitamin F album. Very electric Miles-influenced. Almost plagiarism, one could argue.
Not me though; I dig it.

If there's an album that sounds like Impossible Spaces by Sandro Perri I'd love to know what it is.

Slow Six had a bit about it, except with minimalistic strings on top.

These New Puritans Field of Reeds is most often compared to modern classical chamber music but it also has kind of an ECM records jazz thing going to my ears.
