Anyone? Surprised there isn't a dedicated thread on here already...

Very much C! He's not as easy a sell as, say, Fabio Frizzi but there's more to him than just Cannibal Holocaust.

Definitely. He seems very underwritten about here in the US, despite having penned a few hundred scores, been nominated for and won some top awards. Granted, many were B if not C-list and most were overseas but he's also been revived more recently via the likes of Tarantino and Nicolas Winding-Refn. His work has some serious irony to it in that some of the most well-known stuff is essentially beautiful sounds for ugly subject matter. Was wondering if there's some consensus here about the shallow and deep ends of his oevre but nobody seems to be biting. Seems some critical reevaluation is in order.

B-list films, that is. No blockbusters in this country from what I can gather.

Also, *oeuvre*.
