The haunted lungs of ABBA loom large over this album like a ghost in the sheets, but there are other (obvious) reference points too; ELO and Fleetwood Mac, mostly. It works for me in a similar way to Ronika's Selectadisc; peppy, reverent, and obsequious, but with enough originality and warm, affable melody to keep me from thinking of it as pure 70s pop facsimile.

The first album came out five years ago and I'd wager most people have forgotten about them, so I'd be sad if this one got swept under the rug unnoticed. The second half of "Inferno" is music to don a leotard and pull an Irene Cara to, for sure.

I love the first album, can't say I listen to it often, but am glad it is there on my shelf.
I like the cover of this new one. whole thing is streaming at av club, btw.

Ooh yeah posted about this on the rolling pop 2014 page.
Probably a bit weaker than their debut, but some excellent tracks (agree Inferno is a personal fave).

It's already available on UK Spotify.

Ah, missed that. Searches for "Music Go Music", even in inverted commas, didn't offer much other than a few 2009 posts.

Haha yeah, nice to see it have it's own thread - really enjoying 'Tell Me How it Feels' on rotation at the moment too
