Last year was a struggle and a few complained that they were burnt out on polls by January ,plus 95% of the votes came in the last 2 days a weeks voting period is enough and since *This* is the only dates I can run the poll here it is.

I listened to a few Wovenhand tracks on youtube... hard to pin them down - They seem like metal, but then they also kinda seem like Dead Can Dance stuff. I'd let them in, they're spooky and heavy.

No I was genuinely surprised, I have a couple Wovenhand records and they're mostly acoustic country singer/songwriter-type stuff. If they've gone full-on metal, good on them.

I dont think they have gone full on metal but most of the people i know who love them are into metal, esp doom. The doomy vibe christian lyrics fits.
I'm all for allowing it , no one need vote for it if they dont want to.

Id certainly say it's something a metal fan might like.

i mean not like it matters in the long run wrt polls and voting, but there's no other home for stuff like that and i feel it's worth recognizing on an EOY basis.

you can nominate and vote for what you feel is appropriate but do bear in mind you might be the only one. However the point is to vote for your fave albums. I see no reason why heavier/weird drone shouldn't count.
