I renewed my swag4lyfe thing a couple of weeks ago minus the swag, no farting around with pledging to particular shows, I'll check back with them in a couple of weeks when the marathon is over. Hope they hit the goal.

I donated to the Duane Train show, he is my new favorite. Also, I was listening to the Inflatable Squirrel Carcass during the drive and was reminded of how brilliant and inspiring freeform radio can be. Basically, the hosts were making weird noises, saying nonsensical things and using voice effects. Ace.

Frankly, we're getting a little scared. We need to raise $51,239 by midnight on Oct 31st.

So how did it go for them? The t-shirt rules.

They made their goal a couple of days after the marathon's nominal end, I believe. The fact that they held open the counting for a few extra days and hardly anybody even noticed is nice -- the fall "silent" fundraiser is about as painless as a fundraiser can be.
