even the products in this realm that technically work are still basically snake oil since most people can't tell the difference. no one's listening to 128kbps MP3s anymore, guys. we've got this problem solved already.

this does seem to not just be a new equivalent of FLAC files where no one/few people can really hear the difference. also it's the 'life's work' of one of the guys in that clip supposedly. i'm intrigued.

Wake me up when they can analyze a live studio recording and produce from it a 3D holographic re-creation of, say, Sinatra crooning in your living room.
