There's only two acceptable answers imo. Both have Judas Priest first and UFO last.

It's very tough because the best guitarists (Blackmore, Michael Schenker imo) are not necessarily in the best bands here. Still I think UFO's gotta be first or second.

Judas Priest, UFO, Rainbow, Scorpions, but the last two are pretty arbitrary because I don't know much Rainbow or Scorpions.

this poll is a refreshing wind of change on ILM, so much so that I wonder if it's breaking the law. normally reading ILM I get the same old dreams same time every night, feels like it's rock bottom, but now it's dynamite

I went Scorpions, Judas Priest, UFO, Rainbow. I don't know the latter two bands that well but I put Rainbow last because I was annoyed by how much ILM liked that crappy "Stargazer" song. I imagine that a band with both Dio and Blackmore might have been decent though.
