Some quality this guy's voice has annoys the ever living fuck out of me. Trax are okay, I guess, but again seem like filter disco via Target commercial.

Something about his voice keeps reminding me of Ben Folds.

my frame of reference is hellogoodbye

"emo range"

He sounds guide vocal-y to me but I don't mind so much in this context

he has the voice of ben folds and the phrasing of paddy mcaloon

The voice is not in my general wheelhouse but I can handle it and a bunch of the tracks are instrumental anyway. Good album

on first listen he sounds like howard jones. dude seems to be going for the glossier end of 80s synthpop so i guess his vocal references come from those records. i'm even reminded of paul carrack at times.

this is pretty good. wonder what happened to this dude

speaking of vapordudes making great 80s-style dance music...we should maybe have a thread for George Clanton, his just-released album is incredible

theres a few posts about it in the indie pop thread of all places, feel free to make a thread, it's a great album
