I've been listening to http://sevish.bandcamp.com/album/rhythm-and-xen">this quite a bit. As far as I know, he hasn't got any press. I don't know if the production is the most sophisticated, and I haven't identified all the tuning systems by ear yet, but I find it pretty enjoyable. Some nice rhythms and melodies.

i mean, i'm not without some reservations, mostly about the songwriting, but it's pretty bracing

ok i'm less interested now
there's something about the whole aesthetic that puts me off a little where, say, Jute Gyte nails it
it seems to protest too much of its own wackiness

I liked this stuff, it's fun on its own terms as IDM-ish drum n bass w microtonal pads. The liner notes are sweet and wonky and humble about it all.
