15 Years Of ILM POll (Metal & Heavy Rock Edition) NOMINATIONS AND DISCUSSION THREAD (Nominations Close Friday April 15 2016)

Mooted this a year or 2 ago but CBA but there was so much enthusiasm on Frobisher's awesome Extreme Metal Poll that he has decided, with some help from yours truly, to co-run a metal poll that will encompass the lifespan of ILM. well, roughly...

Anything released between January 1 2000 and December 31 2015 can be nominated as long as it fits the parameters of the poll.

This threads discussion will decide if it "metal or heavy rock enough" Anything that made the EOY polls is allowed.

Anything from 2016 is not allowed because they will be eligible for the EOY poll.

The reason we have gone for this one is that an all genre poll or a poll that included all rock would probably clash with the artist polls queue. Metal however seems to exist on its own as I dont think anyone from those polls took part in the extreme poll so this poll is not stealing anyones thunder. However everyone there *is* welcome to join in if they want to.

i am a voter + much more likely thread participant if nu-metal / emo is allowed

you vote anyway in the polls so i think it proves theres genuine interest not just trolling by the usual suspects

you would need to persuade ppl who never vote in metal polls to participate otherwise you lurk outside the top 5000 with 2 votes
