Found this frikkin ancient cassette listing that predates the first album. Before they were on Drag! If you have any info about this thing or if you have it and could upload a recording! I'd also buy the tape from you instantly.

So since there's only a handful of fans, I'd also like to make this thread about the Howling Hex! I just got Denver a few days ago and also bought it on cassette. The album is as you'd expect it to be, new border sound is really starting to make sense to me. Though I'm not too sure about how direct he's getting now. The cassette has an alt mix "Approved for Indica Mix", and it's completely bizarre and trashed out. Songs hardly resemble their original versions. Still cool to hear.

Is this related to that summoning sickness tape? Where did THAT stuff come from?

Summoning Sickness, Dante's Vendetta and one other CS were sold through some sort of fan club (band-official) around 1997. They have rough rehearsals of stuff from throughout their career. Only have managed to get a hold of Dante's Vendetta (digital only) myself, still need the other two.

Yeah the third tape was "4 of One 1/2 Dozen of the Other". They were all released on the Pink Hearts Society page or something. I think that's where you would get the skull ring too!

Also if anyone knows how to access unlisted youtube videos there's a video out there of Neil and Jen doing a tv spot, Hey we're royal trux and this is so-n-so. Whoever had that video up has unlisted it or made it private?? stupidstupid.
