Love Without Sound - a thread for psychedelic and electronic oddities from the 50s, 60s and 70s...

Through the unpredictable oracle that is Spotify Discover Weekly, I've been rediscovering the world of psychedelic music, this time via the electronic experimentation of Silver Apples, Joe Meek, White Noise, Delia Derbyshire and others.

Do we have a thread for stuff like this yet? I'd love to know more beyond the obvious...

xpost: harper also made a straight electronic library lp with delia derbyshire and one of the other radiophonic people, but the album that is from is more of an "oddity"

There's a great Bruce Haack compilation released by Stones Throw available on spotify: The Electric Voice
Another great Bruce is Bruce Lacey, check out The Spacey Bruce Lacey, released on Trunk.
There's of course some great psychedelics from the BBC Radiophonic Workshop.
And a great compilation from the dutch Philips' Research labs (which contains the Dissevelt and Kid Baltan tracks linked upthread): Popular Electronics: Early Dutch Electronic Music From Philips Research Laboratories (1956 - 1963). Not all of which is psychedelic, but there's lots of gems to be found/heard.
