Where’s the most definitive list of his production jobs? Is Wikipedia pretty much accurate?

If you go back and forth between Wikipedia and Discogs (which lists a little over 1000 technical credits) you should get a pretty clear picture.

Despite certain Albini unions as being internally thought-of (by me) as “an ideal” (Scout, PJ, Electrelane), I’ve always thought his long-running collaboration with Nina Nastasia as being an exception. TIL that a. I was wrong and b. I was damn wrong, having listened to The Blackened Sky for the first time. Holy god!!

The Nastasia records aren't traditionally Albini-esque, but the rapport is so deep, it really brought something out of him. Intimate and spacious at the same time.

Not sure if I'm voting in this one but it sure is intriguing.

We played a gig with Captain Blood who pretty much broke up (that lineup) right after it came out. They are an old school hard rock band, lead singer sounds like Dan from Nazareth. Cool record if you can find it.

Also worth noting Steve's brief stint with Zeni Geva in 91/92, which is mostly the live record All Right You Little Bastard but also two great studio tracks as Superunit, that came on as a single 12" 45 extra with the Skin Graft reissue of Nai-Ha, both of the Superunit songs are essentially proto-Shellac esp "Painwise" which Steve wrote different words for and became "Guy Who Invented Fire"
