She has two further albums, '7 Trumps From The Tarot Cards' and 'Short Circuits'. Also good, but this is the classic.
Definitely not for all tastes: moog-treated whispered readings of Baudelaire over dark drones and chamber melodies, but I've got a huge shady place in my heart for this record, and information on her is nearly impossible to come by. If anyone is knowing the things, post them along here.

I found a mid-70's children's record with 'electronic music by ruth white' but I'm not sure if it's the same person. if it is, she calmed herself down quite a bit.
Listened to '7 Tarots' again last night, much more chaotic than 'Flowers', sounds more like she was multitracking improvisations & textures but it reaches critical mass more than a few times.
