Do you wake up to music each day?

I don't, i have one of those awful beep-y things. I fancy waking up to, you know, FUNNY BREAK or PEARLY DEWDROPS' DROPS of a morning instead. Do you have a musical alarm clock/cd or mp3 player thing going on? I want one. Do they still make your clock radios?

i just wake up. benefit of unemployment. but i used to have to go through a gradual process of beeps, radio stations and cds at high volume just to get myself upright.

my gf wakes up to ABC television on the radio. "the tony danza show" every morning, i don't know how she can stand it.

oh and i had to spend an extra $50 to get a cd player with a wakeup feature. it was worth it.

Yes I do, but it wakes me up with the same music at the same volume as I go to sleep so if I go to bed with SAW2 I'm in danger of never waking up. This calls for bedtime musical tactics.

No, NPR. I miss laying in bed with Bob Edwards.

I wake up to Howard Stern. Listen for awhile, check email while my gf leaves for work. Then to bed again. Then to the desk to write, phone, email, whatever. Doing a piece on Spoon right now. I like Spoon so 'tis easy.

I wake up to a CHR format station. Matchbox 20 and whatnot. Gets me out of bad quick-snap-like, just I can shut the damn thing off.

all I can think about now is how in Groundhog Day poor Murray had to wake up to that awful Cher tune every morning. Ouch. I think I prefer my girlfriend elbowing for coffee...

nearly every day of 2004 i woke up to Augustus Pablo's Valley of Jehosophat. dub is my preferred sound to wake up to but quite often it's NPR or whatever comes on random on my iPod.

You should try Chris Moyles in the morning. That has you out of bed in seconds...

I use an old CD alarm clock. After lots of experimenting, I've concluded that Neu 75 is the absolute best CD to wake up to. Last week my girfriend switched it with Reign in Blood, just to fuck with me.

No, but the first thing I do when I wake up is wander groggily over to the computer and turn on iTunes.

I used to wake up to Corrupted's 'Llenandose de Gusanos' album a few years ago (disc 1). It was perfect since I didn't have to get up right away and I could just chill and listen to 20mins of piano and get up at my own pace. But if I happened to drift back into sleep, the UNGOLDY SLUDGE that comes in after those first 20mins got me up QUICK.

Now I just use my cell phone cause I realized I was wearing out records this way.
