And the records are clean? It seems everytime I think I've come up, I take the records out of the sleeves only to find out that they're completely destroyed. BTW, is that one of those wheezy-sounding accodrdion-type midget organs? If so, you came up big-time...

The records are a bit dusty and dirty, but i cleaned them up and they're good. "My Aim Is True" is cracked though, but it's still a cool album to have. They have it at a record store near me so I'm gonna buy it.

Yeh it's one of those "wheezy-sounding accodrdion-type midget organs"

It sounds great. A good buy for $1.

Yeah, That little organ thing rocks so much i'm thinking about naming it Dio. Great buy for $1, Mike. I'm gonna record something with it now.

We had a chord organ like that when I was a young un. They were already pretty outmoded by then and I was dying for a cool electronic keyboard, but it was kinda cool. My mum bought it from a friend for peanuts - I think the idea was to have something she could play along with while practicing her choir parts. We got rid of it when we moved house though.
After hearing Daniel Johnston's great Yip! Jump! I wish I still had it.
Maybe I could pick one up at the Barras.

nine years pass...

god bless the Great Glebe Garage Sale. today, for 2-3 bones a pop, all in great shape:

Joy Division Closer
Gang of Four Solid Gold
Kate Bush Hounds of Love
Public Image Ltd Flowers of Romance
Dum Dum Girls Too True
Harry Nilsson Pussy Cats

and a few more common ones I wanted to find as cheaply as possible, as well as a CD of The National's High Violet for a buck. Not bad!
