More dull stoner rock from Texas, but with Dungeons & Dragons fetish instead of standard manly man pig hollerin' matter. Six of one, half dozen of the other. Opinions vary on over on Rolling Metal but no one's really bugshit crazy over it. My friend thought they were fair to good opening for Early Man, who were better.

Yeah, the bill near me is Metallica/Machine Head/the Sword. I am very enthused about that.

"How Heavy This Axe" is totally a favourite guitar jam right now.

I got to say the new album "High Country" by The Sword is pretty much setup to set fire to their fanbase. Some of it to me sounds like those Dangermouse produced Black Keys tracks, which for a band that made their bones on galloping thrashy gallop rock with some ZZ Top riffs seems like an odd step. I can't see them getting more fans out of the switch.
