Ned, How Did It Come To Pass That You Got to Write TWO Carcass Album Reviews?

Not criticizing your AMG pieces at all. Matter of fact, they're great -- as funny as the two albums in question.

I'm just curious. You don't strike me as being a Carcass fan. Is there some sort of connection between Carcass and Kevin Shields that no-one else is privy to? :-)

Oh yeah, for the onlookers. The album reviews in question are for Reek of Putrefaction and Symphonies of Sickness. So everyone can enjoy!

Silly Tadeusz, Ned likes everything!

Alternate answer:
Silly Tadeusz, Kevin Shields influenced everything!

You don't strike me as being a Carcass fan.

Said it before, will say it again -- I delight in confounding expectations regarding what I like. ;-)

Those albums are great because they're loud, fast and so freaking FUNNY. Hearing squiggled gargles for vocals or the flatly delivered if still roared line "Life is hard as a mortuary technician!" just put a smile on my face.

Yes indeed, yes yes.

Silly Tadeusz, Kevin Shields influenced everything!

Impossible. This does not explain Creed.

i prefer the logic that Carcass are responsible for everything.

especially paul leaving s club.

I remember the gleeful day when I showed my grandfather the song titles to Reek of Putrefaction. Old guy had a great sense of humor (which is the only reason I even dared). All he could do was shake his head and say, "you kids today!"

five years pass...

Ned, will you be reviewing the reissues too?

Carcass' back catalogue will begin being reissued on May 27th in North America with each album featuring A DVD containing 30 minutes of a total of two and a half hours of interviews dubbed "The Pathologist's Report". An additional 30 minutes will be included on each of the bands 5 albums as they are reissued. The first effort to be re-released is "Necroticism - Descanting The Insalubrious", which will arrive in stores through Earache on May 27th
