The Disco Not Disco and Mutant Sounds compilations are a good starting point for this sort of thing iirc. There's hardly any strictly hip hop tunes in there but they are definitely grounded in some sort of funk-soul-disco influence which blends fine when paired with any hip hop song from the epoch.
