There's another EP coming in October. No date set for an album yet, but I think it's before year's end.

Yeah that's amazing. I've loved just about everything I've heard by them now. I haven't been this excited about a new band in a long time, probably not since I first heard Wild Beasts.

I saw Popjustice mentioned them the other day as being a pop band for people who don't like pop or something. I kind of hate it when they say things like that but was just glad to see them get a mention.

Played this about 12 or 15 times since Friday. Can't wait for this damn album to arrive.

Oh? I think it shows they can put together a really tight single as well as they can do extended things like "Under the Bridges" and "Mother Protect". It's probably the most Kate Bush-y thing they've done, though, and it may be a little plagiaristic.

i guess i spent more time talking about the band than the song. disappointed that this and "the fox" were given the singles boost, when those ones so comparatively subdued and minor. i love them for the brash/daring/fearless bits that grab you, which are rarer in their more composed songs.

There is doubt this will be a solid album but I have to say I'm really disappointed that nine of the tracks have already been released. Only two new songs really doesn't seem like a lot to me.

I kind of like the fact that the album will be comprised of their first batch of material, tbh. In five years, I won't feel like tracking down several singles and eps when I can just grab their debut album instead. Disappointed that they've given it a title and changed the cover art, though.

So the album is great but why the hell did they edit the last half of Under The Bridges? That last half was the best thing they've done.

I think it's edited on cd but complete on vinyl? Or vice versa.

Oh I got the CD and it's the edit on there. Not sure why they did that, bit of a shame. Still it's a great album overall, my favourite debut in years.

Judging by the remixes, I wouldn't mind if NatD had picked a bit harder/more aggressive/dancier line on the album, but then again we have Battlekat etc. for that.

I'm going to trust Play It on My Radio is more of an indicator of its quality than that warmed over boring-ass album cover is.

(tbh, this is my most anticipated album of the year now that the KING record is already out there.)

There's apparently a delay in the album being available outside of Sweden at the moment, but*cough*itsonsoulseek*cough*

So this is quite a bit different from the initial singles/first album, but very much in line with the two songs that came out in the last few months. Again, they're really good and utilizing 80s sounds and atmosphere without turning out a bunch of pastiche pieces, but this time it's less Kate Bush/Stevie Nicks and more Italians Do It Better—which is an okay twist, because who knows when those Chromatics and Glass Candy albums are ever going to come out.

This is an extraordinary album imo. The ballads are some of the best Prince approximations I've heard in a while.

I'm not really getting an IDIB vibe on first impressions but I'm really enjoying this. It was the right move to tone down the bombastic production as her voice is strong enough on its own and it felt a little overblown at times on the debut. I wish the big ballads were right at the end of the album though, the pacing is a bit off.

this has been my go-to summer jam. even the b-sides from the deluxe version are rockin.

I love this album so much and at times it makes me extremely emotional. "brand new", "everybody wants to be you", "ode to dancefloor", & "you want the sun" are all such magnificent songs

yeah this has crept on me as a recent favourite in a big way

"Coconut Kiss" is such a jam. "Lost UB" and "You want the sun" also top drawer.
