Sounded v contemporary, like it could have come out yesterday, with a female vocalist, and the hook had a prominent sample from what sounded like the 'album time' version of this song that I'm super familiar with so it jumped out at me. Can't remember any lyrics at all tho :/

I'm one of the people who wasn't disappointed with the album in the slightest, but I'm really struggling to care about what he does anymore. These new songs aren't the direction I wanted him to go in.

yeah, I don't get it either.

His remix catalogue is so great he should work on having his band perform them live. This new stuff is just terrible.

Did this guy just retire or something? The really excellent new Prins Thomas record is making me pine for Terje. He was completely untouchable for a good four or five years there. It's now been six years since he's dropped something. Is he a family man now on a farm or something? Is he secretly composing his "Ram"? Is he the next Vashti Bunyan and will emerge from his small village in 20 years to drop a masterclass in disco again?

Yeah he pretty much dropped off the face of the earth. I've also been a bit baffled by this, so after digging awhile back I found a reddit thread asking the same question from a couple of years ago and this was an answer: "Someone asked him whether he has any new music coming soon on his Instagram recently. He said 'nope' :( really broke my heart."

his ambition was to make enough £s so he didn't have to do any more music related activities and i guess he succeeded.
