This Is My Jam

i like the playlist function, where you can play all your friends' jams -- it's nice to keep up with people's listening without having to do too much work. i also like how it posts your jam to twitter, although you don't really need a service for that, if you just want to tweet about a song you like.

I like it. the "Open In Spotify" feature they just rolled out takes it to the next level. automatically generates a playlist out of your past jams and likes.

The Spotify addition is neat, except I noticed that it tried to match a couple of my past jams that Spotify didn't have to songs that had similar names or artists.

is there any way to get a full list of my past jams? it seems that the closest is using the spotify app but obviously everything that's not on spotify is missing.

It's weird that you can see everything you've liked, but not everything you yourself have put up.

I don't think you can get a full list of your jams. I keep mine in a txt document for posterity, like the saddo I am.

This is so much better than I thought it was from the funny tweets.

The Spotofy app is particularly good - lets you quickly browse through past jams of people you follow, then discover new people who have also jammed songs you like.

Cymbal appears to be the closest analogue to TIMJ, but it's mobile-only (and, for the time being, iOS-only). Doesn't really work for me.

Let's Loop is dumb. Nusiki is a mess. God's Jukebox is at least being developed by a person who was an avid TIMJer, so the expectation is that over time it will incorporate everything that made TIMJ so wonderful.

I'm hoping so. It definitely looks a little raw right now but there's potential there.

Yeah, I set up a Let's Loop account but I reckon I've looked at it maybe once or twice. God's Jukebox is very similar to TIMJ and I feel a lot more comfortable with it.
