This is playing locally and I'm going to see it. Has anyone else? If so, how is it?

five years pass...

Six years later...Went in not knowing much (she figures into the Andre Talley documentary), liked it fine. She reminded me of Kael a bit in that she took naturally and voraciously to everything that was happening in the '60s, even though her own personality was shaped decades before (which I guess is a roundabout way of saying she was old when celebrity came to her)--Joplin and Morrison and the Beatles and Simon & Garfunkel seemed to be all over Vogue. Nice use of "She's a Rainbow" over the opening credits. Is it possible to see Who Are You, Polly Maggoo? anymore? Nothing on Amazon, a few clips on YouTube.

Polly Maggoo is available in the William Klein Eclipse set (Criterion).

Apparently the director of the Vreeland documentary has a forthcoming documentary about Cecil Beaton.

Isn't that Beaton who turns up in the Vreeland film when the photographer's getting him to say "lesbian" over and over while shooting him?

I didn't see TEHTT, so I wouldn't know.
