2a) a "ratio" is real-time status data, indicating the relative share-ratio of data via torrents. a 1.1 ratio shows a user whos upstream data transfer is equal to the downstream. a 2.1 then, indicates a user whos uploaded date is double that of his/her downloaded data. it is important to maintain a ratio of 1.1 on most private-tracker sites, however this is obviously a minimum and should be much higher in my opinion.. assuming there a willing leeches. if not a minimum wait for leeches of 48hours is usually adequate.
